Job Summary:
The Autodesk Developer will focus on software development and systems integration within the Autodesk ecosystem, leveraging Autodesk APIs and Fusion Manage workspaces. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining custom solutions that enhance Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflows, automate data exchanges, and optimize user experience across Autodesk platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Autodesk Vault, Fusion Manage APIs, and Autodesk web services.
- Configure and customize Fusion Manage workspaces to support business processes and PLM workflows.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using C# and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage the software development lifecycle, including version control, testing, deployment, and documentation using Git.
- Ensure consistency, maintainability, and performance across software integrations.
- Propose workflow and process improvements to enhance system efficiency.
- Train and support team members in using established procedures and tools.
Required Skills:
- Solid understanding of Autodesk APIs, Fusion Manage workspace configuration, and PLM concepts.
- Proficiency in C# and JavaScript, with strong experience in web development and RESTful API integration.
- Hands-on experience with Git and Visual Studio.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve moderately complex technical challenges independently.
- Familiarity with standard software development and integration procedures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for both internal and external interactions.
- Ability to take initiative and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Autodesk Vault, Fusion Manage, or similar CAD-integrated systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based PLM and integration frameworks.
- Understanding of data modeling within PLM environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of software development experience, preferably within a PLM or CAD-integrated environment.
