Respiratory Therapist, Registered - Diagnostic

Overview:

Responsibilities

• Encompasses responsibility for performing pulmonary diagnostic testing and administering respiratory care under a physician's order.
• Delivers patient education and serves as a resource to physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals.
• Will perform additional duties incidental to the efficient operation of the Pulmonary Function Lab as well as incidental to the efficient operation of the Respiratory Care Department as a whole.
• The Therapist understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.

• Registered Respiratory Therapist Required - AND NC Respiratory Care Practitioner Required
• (Adult) Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required
• (Neonatal/Peds) Basic Life Support Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Required
• Must have all at the time of hire

Education:

Associate's degree Respiratory Therapy Required

Experience: 1 Year Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Preferred
