Geriatric Psychiatrist
An academic Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board Eligible/Board Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a growing academic division. New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply.
The position is supported by a newly developed 144-bed behavioral health hospital , including 24 inpatient beds dedicated to geriatric psychiatry , providing comprehensive services for older adult patients.
An opportunity to serve as Fellowship Director for a new Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship is available for qualified and interested candidates.

- Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities , including outpatient psychiatry clinics, a geriatric-focused primary care center, and inpatient consultation services
- Opportunity to develop and expand consultation services for multiple local nursing homes
- Collaboration with a team of four neuropsychologists
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule with rotating night call by phone
- 24/7 resident coverage , including first-call responsibility
- Balanced role combining clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity
