As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent financial institution location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain proper licensing at all times. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and clients, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential risks and provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed.
- Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required during critical situations.
- Handle access control responsibilities, including verifying identification and visitor management procedures.
- Perform duties while carrying an authorized firearm, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess an active Armed Guard Card or License.
- Must have at least two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience, or possess a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
