As a Roof Sales Representative, you will be integral to driving sales within a small, focused team, specializing in asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and flat roofing systems. Serving both residential homeowners and commercial businesses, you will engage clients through consultations and presentations, preparing accurate estimates and fostering strong relationships. The role involves regular regional travel and the use of standard CRM software to manage customer interactions and sales processes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and identify potential clients within residential and commercial segments
- Conduct client consultations to understand roofing needs and preferences
- Deliver compelling sales presentations highlighting product features and benefits
- Prepare detailed and accurate roofing estimates for customers
- Follow up with customers post-presentation to address questions and close sales
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and flat roofing systems
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
- Utilize standard CRM software to track sales activities and customer interactions
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales
- Proficiency in sales techniques and customer relationship management
- Strong communication and time management skills
- In-depth knowledge of roofing materials and products
- Problem-solving abilities and networking skills
