Social Media & Marketing Intern
LaVida Massage + Skincare Raleigh, NCLaVida Massage + Skincare is a locally owned wellness center dedicated to helping our community feel their best through customized massage and skincare services. We are looking for a creative, motivated Social Media & Marketing Intern to join our team and help grow our brand presence both online and in the community. This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate student interested in marketing, communications, graphic design, social media, or business , who wants real-world, hands-on experience with a growing wellness brand. What Youll Do:
- Assist with creating engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms
- Design social media graphics, stories, and promotional materials using tools like Canva or Adobe
- Help plan and schedule posts that highlight our custom massages, skincare services, promotions, and events
- Support marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, in-center promotions, and community outreach
- Capture or assist with light photo/video content (as needed, in-center or at events)
- Collaborate with ownership and management on branding ideas and creative campaigns
- Strong interest in social media, branding, and digital marketing
- Creative eye with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook trends
- Experience with Canva (Adobe Suite a plus, but not required)
- Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and taking creative direction
- Hands-on experience managing real brand social media accounts
- Portfolio-worthy projects and creative freedom
- Mentorship from business owners in a growing franchise environment
- Exposure to marketing strategy, branding, and small business operations
- Flexible schedule that works around school commitments
- UNPAID internship - experience, support, connections, and references/recommendations offered.
- Hybrid (some remote work with occasional in-center or event support)
