CT Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel CT Technologist
• Location: Greensboro, NC 27403 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Hospital
• Start Date: September 2, 2025
• End Date: December 2, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 4x10-hour evening shifts (Tuesday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,370 - $2,430
• On-Site Position

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Active ARRT (CT and R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with GE & Siemens CT scanners
• Procedural experience (iSTATs, Power Ports, PPACs)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to provide clinical support to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Must complete compliance requirements by deadline
• Active North Carolina license in hand required at time of submission
• No local candidates within 50 miles (travel healthcare job requirement)

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform advanced CT imaging procedures, including 3D rendering, contrast studies, and specialized scans (abdomen, brain, chest, musculoskeletal, vascular, etc.)
• Assist with special procedures such as abscess drainages, aspirations, chest tube placement, and suprapubic catheter placement
• Safely prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs and conduct iSTAT creatinine testing as needed
• Ensure radiation safety and compliance with hospital protocols
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and rapid response
• Deliver compassionate patient care for a variety of diagnoses, including cancer, trauma, stroke, and orthopedic conditions
• Float to other hospital campuses as needed
