Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment, full-time hours

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, valid in the state of North Carolina (or compact)
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an Emergency Department (ER) setting
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• EMR experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Triage, assess, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients of all ages
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff during emergent situations
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document care in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, and ongoing care
• Demonstrate flexibility to float within critical care areas as needed
