**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas according to established protocols.
+ Report and document all incidents, observations, and security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and emergencies.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to those within the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
