OT
We are looking for a talented and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team for the school year.
Hourly Rate Range: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ functional and developmental levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines.
- Document student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and self-care skills.
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences.
- Provide training and resources to school staff to enhance students’ participation and access to the curriculum.
- Ensure compliance with IDEA, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) regulations, and district policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist License issued by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT).
- National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
