We help seniors maintain their independence and continue living at home homes for as long as possible. PACE emphasizes a participant-centered strategy, focusing on providing the right care and services that best support each participant's unique needs and goals. We integrate and coordinate all aspects of care, leveraging a team of dedicated doctors, nurses, therapists, dieticians, and other specialized professionals who work together as a care team to manage and address the complete health needs of each.

About Position: The primary responsibility of the Dietitian is to provide nutrition care and education to Piedmont Health SeniorCare participants and provide oversight of dietary services. Evaluate the participants nutritional status, develop and implement nutritional care plans, assess nutrient requirements, recommend nutritional prescriptions, evaluate participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care and communicate nutritional data and information to the physician’s and other health professionals. The Dietitan will also supervise the dietary coordinator.

- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Qualifications –
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution approved by the ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) with a major in nutrition. Master’s Degree preferred. One year of experience with the frail or elderly preferred. Clinical dietetics experience preferred.
• Ability to teach; analytical thinking
• Ability to provide care to geriatric participants; knowledge of clinical dietetics
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Must have be an active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RND), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of North Carolina. Valid NC driver’s license.
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
Pay Range: $59,050 to $79,358(commensurate with years of experience)
