**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with inquiries and directions while upholding site-specific policies.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any unusual conditions.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site protocols.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
+ Operate access control systems and other security-related technology as required by site procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
