Physical Therapist Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Physical Therapist job)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based Home Health (Windsor office, covering Bertie, Chowan, Hertford, and Halifax counties)
• Location: Greenville, North Carolina (NC physical therapy jobs)

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (8-hour days)

• Average Visits: 4–6 per day, depending on visit type
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050–$2100

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina (NC PT license required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in hospital or home health settings
• Experience with clinical support and patient care in home health preferred
• Ability to travel to patient locations within the coverage area
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients in their homes as part of a hospital-based healthcare team
• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
