Job Summary
This role supports daily warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. It involves operating warehouse equipment, performing inventory tasks, and completing basic computer transactions. Candidates should have 2–3 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Description
- Day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping & communicating with supervisor
- Correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, status updates, etc
- Unload, uncrate, or unpack materials and transport to designated inventory location or proper disposal area using forklift or by hand as appropriate
- Perform computer transactions, including input of material receipts, cycle counts, stock adjustments, etc
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols
- Maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness
- Perform safe work practices as well as safe operation of vehicles and equipment
- Complete all required safety training, including working at heights
- Complete all required training for forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift operation
Skills Required
- 2-3-year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- A Team Player who constructively contributes to a positive environment
- Ability to communicate information (in small groups) to other employees
- Must be prepared to work extra overtime hours when required
- Knowledge of Shipping & Receiving forms & terminology (BOL, Packing Slip, COO, COC, etc.)
- Good legible penmanship
- Previous forklift experience
- Able to lift to 50lbs.
- Experience with MS Word / Excel / Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, EPICOR, ORACLE)
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Additional Requirements
- Work Hours: Day Shift, Mon – Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay Rate/Salary
- $16.00/hr.
