What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and/or exit activity in accordance with location procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Support healthcare location operations by communicating with staff and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, or other emergency situations and following post orders for assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
