About the role

The Credit Platform leverages Nubank's accounting to a new level, according to the Q2'2023 investors' earnings call, Nu had an interest-earning portfolio of $6.3 billion, this amount of impact is delivered by the capabilities available at our platforms.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Credit Platform. This role involves evolving, developing and maintaining the horizontal platform that provides all credit operations for the company, which enables clients to create and manage loans through various operations throughout the loan lifecycle.

You'll be responsible for

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the platform;


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;


• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications;


• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs;


• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

We are looking for a person who has

• Proficiency in functional programming languages, focused on Clojure;


• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture;


• Familiarity with database systems, data cache, non-relational databases and data modeling;


• Understanding of distributed systems;


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
