Lawn Care Technician

Responsibilities and Duties

The Lawn Care Technician will follow a daily schedule, insuring timely arrival at each account (A company vehicle is provided.) He or She will provide our customers with the best lawn care services in the industry. Lawn Care services include fertilizing the turf and plants, spraying and applying herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. The Technician will also discuss the scope of services provided and other home service options with the customer.

Job Requirements

Successful candidates will have good communication skills, the ability to learn our business and a background in customer service. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check including a drug screen. This position is classified as heavy work in as much as it requires exertion of up to 50 pounds of force. Will be required to lift or carry 40-70 pounds for a distance of 50 feet or more. Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures. Prior turf and plant care knowledge is helpful, but we will train the right applicant. Need to be mechanically inclined. Must have good reading and math skills. Will be required to read and follow directions on Chemical labels.
