Verbatim Americas seeks an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to drive growth in our consumer-facing product lines. The ideal candidate will identify new market opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and expand our customer base in this rapidly evolving technology space.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for our main product lines
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and technology partners
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging applications
  • Create compelling business cases and value propositions for prospects
  • Collaborate with product teams to align offerings with market demands
  • Track industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows

  • Interpersonal Skills: Building rapport and fostering positive working relationships with internal, global and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams like sales, marketing, and operations to achieve shared goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field from a four-year college or university; and five plus years related experience in Business Development or sales within the storage and computer accessory industry in the Retail space.
  • Deep understanding of retail environment and computer accessories
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise-level deals and meeting revenue targets
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to translate complex technology into business value
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience with OEM, ODM, and channel sales models preferrd
  • Proficient in: MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
