What You’ll Do

• Precision Inspection: Perform incoming, in-process, and final audits using advanced measurement tools.
• Metrology & Calibration: Manage the calibration of lab equipment like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Compliance Leadership: Maintain ISO/IATF document control and lead internal process audits.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify non-conformances and recommend ways to optimize production quality.

What You Bring

• Automotive Expertise: At least 5 years of manufacturing quality experience, specifically within the automotive industry.
• Technical Savvy: Hands-on experience with metrology equipment and a solid understanding of IATF 16949 standards.
• Education: Associate degree (2-year) is required.
• Bonus Points: Experience with plastics (molding/extrusion) or APQP/PPAP processes.

Responsibilities

The Production Quality Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining and advancing product and process quality standards across the organization. This position supports the quality assurance group through hands-on inspection, testing, document control, and calibration activities. The ideal candidate brings solid automotive industry quality experience, computer proficiency, and practical knowledge of metrology and measurement equipment, all while operating in compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.

• Hands-on experience with metrology and the use of measurement equipment in a Quality Lab setting (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM)
• Above-average computer skills required — proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential
• Experience with quality management software or ERP systems
• Familiarity with document control systems and audit reporting processes

The essential functions of this role include:
