Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and breakdown operatories pre and post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Take impressions (Digital or PVS) of patients' teeth for Clear Aligners, Nightguards, Dentures etc.
- Assist in daily operations and progress notes (Practice Management Software: Oryx).
- Communicate with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies).
Requirements
- Highly motivated with a growth mindset
- X-ray certification
- Passion for dentistry and loves the profession.
- Experience in various dental specialties or willingness to learn (ex. Extractions, Clear Aligners, Root Canals, Implants, Dentures, 3D Printing, Same Day Crowns, IV Sedation).
- Proficiency in digital dentistry and intraoral scanning.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Kind, caring, and attentive to patients' needs.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Enjoys working in a fun, positive team environment.
- Schedule: 3 days per week, Tuesday-Thursday 7-7PM (work on some Mondays if we are closed on one of the three work days).
