Senior Financial Analyst POST NUMBER: 484646

We are recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst for a growing company in Raleigh. This role will help support strategic planning, forecasting, business performance analysis, and executive reporting. There is significant visibility across the organization and the opportunity to partner with leadership on key business initiatives, operational decision-making, and financial strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, delivering performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, identifying key drivers impacting financial and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and business growth initiatives.
• Analyze profitability, margins, pricing, and operating costs to support data-driven decision-making across the business.
• Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance, performance metrics, and actionable business insights.
• Administer employee incentive compensation programs, including calculating, validating, reconciling, and reporting commissions, bonuses, and other variable compensation in accordance with approved plans.
• Monitor financial and operational trends, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
• Enhance reporting capabilities through automation, dashboard development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support strategic initiatives and special projects, including business cases, market analysis, acquisitions, and executive presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field with 3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, consulting, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience building financial models, forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing large data sets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment; exposure to BI tools, ERP systems, CRM platforms, or planning software is a plus.
