General Gastroenterology Opportunity in Washington, NC

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Gastroenterology - Washington are seeking a board eligible or board certified Gastroenterologist to join their established gastroenterology practice located in Washington, North Carolina.

1. Employment by ECU Health Physicians-Community Practice Model
2. Privileges at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center
3. Part of a growing 9-hospital physician-led, not-for-profit healthcare system
4. Position available due to retirement
5. Established practice with 1 experienced gastroenterologist and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
6. Procedures include general GI and advanced endoscopy (ERCP preferred, EUS optional)
7. Outpatient clinic managed by experienced Advanced Practice Providers
8. Endoscopy suite located at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital
9. Inpatient support from an experienced hospitalist team; GI team is consult-only, no direct admitting responsibilities
10. Call: 10 days per month, no weekend or holiday call
11. Teaching opportunities with Brody School of Medicine for medical students, residents, and GI fellows
