Welcome to the role of Group Sales Manager ! In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective sales strategies. You will be focused on building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective clients, as well as managing day-to-day activities to ensure successful sales results. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a Group Sales strategy and plan to achieve sales goals
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage a team of Group Sales Representatives, providing guidance and leadership
- Create and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders to increase sales
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales
- Coordinate and participate in industry events and tradeshows
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and pipelines
- Work with other departments (marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor competitors' activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Develop and maintain sales reports and other documentation
- Train and mentor new and existing Group Sales Representatives
- Monitor customer feedback and provide reports to the management team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and build customer loyalty
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in group sales/hospitality
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with customers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel as needed
