911 Restoration of Fayetteville is a full service property damage restoration company. We assist property owners repair their homes after they have experienced water, fire, or mold damage. We are property damage specialists that provide our client with a Fresh Start from the initial contact to the final completion of repairs. Our purpose is to assist them through each step of the restoration process with care, industry knowledge, and through strong training and development for all of our team members.
Qualifications:
The level 1 restoration technician is an entry level position that helps clients experiencing a disaster of some nature such as fire, water, microbial growth, storm damage, or other loss/damage to property. The restoration technician helps the client through the process of assessing what can be saved and what must be restored to return the client to normalcy. This person must be a compassionate, detail oriented individual who can work with a team to meet the needs of the client, Candidates for restoration technician should meet the following minimum requirements.
Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred IICRC certification of WR but not required
Excellent working knowledge of hand and power tools
Physical fitness
Ability to read simple building diagrams/sketches
Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills
Social awareness
Good math skills
Responsibilities:
Assess damaged property to determine what is damaged, what needs to be done to mitigate the damage, and determine what can be saved and what must be removed during mitigation.
Carry out the processes involved in cleaning and storing damaged property until it can be returned to the home/business.
Remove damaged materials such as baseboards, trim, wallboard, flooring, insulation and other materials damaged by the incident that cannot be saved.
Ability to take moisture readings using moistures meters, hammer probes, and/or any equipment that will facilitate determining material moisture content.
Ability to establish and set up the drying process using the equipment necessary for achieving maximum drying.
Knowledge of the equipment and types of equipment that must be used in restoration of property damage.
Ability to set up a mitigation checklist/notebook for the purpose of recording the work done on the job.
Ability to calculate the number of dehumidifiers needed on a job site.
Handle any issue caused by water damage including drying out the area and addressing microbial contamination.
Disinfecting structural features that can be saved.
Ability to answer complaints, explain job specifications and work authorizations procedures, and perform other customer service duties as needed.
Adhere to personal safety standards by wearing appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment for the job.
Work in crawl spaces as needed.
Be able to perform water extraction as needed.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
** Must be available to serve in the on call rotation. **
