Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with a robust mechanical skillset and a keen interest in the automotive industry. This role involves hands-on work with maintenance, metal cutting and shaping in automotive contexts, as well as fabricating with machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and fabrication tasks for metal components for trucks.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively for various automotive and mechanical tasks.
• Work with metal cutting tools, flanges, and wrenches to ensure proper assembly and maintenance.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience, preferably in the automotive field.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and on vehicles and tanks.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment where conditions can vary between hot and cold. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided, including coveralls, and while steel-toed shoes are not required, closed-toed footwear is necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apex, NC.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
