Administrative Assistant

Description We are looking for a dedicated Business Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to support the daily operations of a thriving office. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and staff through exceptional organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities: - Welcome patients warmly upon arrival to create a positive and detail oriented first impression. - Manage patient scheduling and records using Dentrix software. - Coordinate and confirm appointments for multiple providers within the office. - Process and file insurance claims, including follow-ups on outstanding claims and verification of benefits. - Post payments from insurance companies and patients while handling accounts receivable efficiently. - Discuss treatment plan costs and payment options with patients in a clear and supportive manner. - Collaborate with team members and providers to implement systems that enhance office productivity. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative support or office management. -Experience in healthcare or medical field. - Proficiency in Dentrix software or similar patient scheduling tools. - Ability to handle inbound calls and provide excellent customer service. - Skilled in data entry with strong attention to detail. - Familiarity with filing insurance claims and accounts receivable processes. - Excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients and team members. - Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
