- Provide triage, stabilization, diagnosis, and treatment for small-animal emergency and urgent-care cases
- Perform emergency and urgent soft-tissue procedures as indicated; coordinate surgical and medical care plans
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and imaging to guide timely clinical decisions
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with experienced RVTs and support staff; contribute to a positive team culture
- Maintain accurate medical records and participate in case rounds and quality improvement
- Schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays consistent with an emergency-only practice Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- North Carolina veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license, or eligibility to obtain
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a client-focused approach
- Emergency experience preferred; new graduates with an interest in emergency medicine are encouraged to apply and will be supported with mentorship Apply
