Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced server assistant who has both the passion and knowledge to join our team at Rooster's Wood-fired Kitchen in Uptown. This position provides a great opportunity for growth and to learn amazing food. We are looking for people with passion for hospitality, who are willing to learn, as well as teach. The right candidate for this job should be able to multitask food and beverage orders and deliveries, assisting servers and managers on the floor all while maintaining sidework. Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent service, which is why we are looking for a server assistant who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, and a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time / Part Time

Expected Hours: 15 – 35 per week

Shift:

• Day shift
• Night shift

Service and Maintenance

• Learning table numbers and seating positions.
• Delivering plates to specified seats with confidence and ability to explain dishes to guests.
• Communicating with Expo/Chef/FOH Manager on needs from servers/guests.
• Clearing tables without being intrusive on guest experience.
• Sanitizing and resetting place settings for tables and communicating reset tables with Host/Hostess.
• Completing all delegated sidework for opening/closing shifts.
• Keeping a calm composure in high stress situations.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.
