A small furniture company is seeking a motivated, self-starting Warehouse Specialist. Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated, self-starting Warehouse Specialist & Local Driver to join our team. In this versatile role, you will be the backbone of our inventory flow—managing materials inside the facility, handling outdoor loading areas, and occasionally hitting the road to complete local inventory pickups.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, takes pride in keeping an organized workspace, and possesses a strong work ethic. We are looking for a proactive individual who can work independently with minimal oversight, anticipate warehouse needs, and safely represent our company while making local runs.

Key Responsibilities

Material Movement & Driving

• Local Driving: Safely operate a small box truck to perform local inventory and material pickups as needed.

• Outdoor Operations: Load and unload delivery trucks, and retrieve materials from outdoor storage areas to bring inside.

• Internal Distribution: Pull required materials from inventory and efficiently deliver them to various production or staging stations.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift to put away, stack, and organize heavy inventory.

Facility Upkeep & Organization

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse floor.

• Break down and dispose of empty boxes and packaging materials.

• Proactively identify clutter or safety hazards and resolve them independently when warehouse flow is slow.

The essential functions of this role include:
