**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site policy.
+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency procedures.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
