Job Description

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Full-Time in Apex, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with others, and play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, assisting with emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding any incidents or security-related matters.
• Assist with access control measures, including verifying credentials for entry and/or exit as required by site policies.
• Support a secure environment by remaining alert to potential hazards or disruptions within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
