Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Screw Machinist for a direct hire opportunity with an automotive parts manufacturer in Greenville, SC. This is a Night Shift position offering excellent starting pay at $27.45 per our, along with a $0.50 pay increase and $2.00 shift differential following training and the move the night shift ., This position includes comprehensive benefits available through the employer including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, profit sharing, employee stock ownership, and more! The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating lathes or screw machines, strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail for high-precision component production.

CNC Screw Machinist Job Responsibilities

• Operate Tornos multi-spindle screw machines to safely produce precision fuel injector components
• Perform hourly in-process inspections using calipers, snap gauges, and other precision tools
• Adjust machine settings manually to maintain conformance with tight tolerances
• Perform tooling changes (up to 16 tools per machine) and dial the machine back in
• Monitor and track part quality using run charts
• Segregate non-conforming parts and communicate with technicians or leadership as needed
• Maintain coolant levels and general machine cleanliness
• Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines consistently

CNC Screw Machinist Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience operating manual or horizontal lathes or screw machines
• Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, split bores, snap gauges, etc.)
• Comfortable working with tolerances under 1mm
• Strong understanding of mechanical tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers)
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for a 10-hour shift
