Product Manager (Power and Grounding Connections) - Huntersville, NC
NSI Industries is seeking an experienced Product Manager in our Huntersville, NC location to drive the strategic development and execution of one or more product categories. This role will have full P&L ownership and be responsible for market segmentation, roadmap planning, and new product development. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to lead category performance, identify growth opportunities, and deliver market-relevant solutions. Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills:
- Lead product planning and marketing using roadmaps and competitive analysis.
- Identify market segments for revenue opportunities.
- Gather customer insights for products.
- Develop pricing strategies based on market acceptance.
- Review inventory and forecast sales.
- Analyze competitors to identify trends and gaps.
- Drive new product development including marketing, costing, pricing, distribution, and go-to-market strategies.
- Assist with packaging and documentation .
- Achieve business results and improve performance standards.
- Conduct technical training and create product content.
- Participate in industry events .
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or General Business
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive product management, sales, or engineering experience from a consumer and electrician led electronic goods manufacturing organization
- Proficient in operating Windows, CRM and BI programs as well as associated Microsoft Office applications, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of basic financial statements and P&L ownership
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and BI software tools
- Product and application knowledge in Wire Connectors preferred
- Field sales experience with electrical distribution, contractors and specifying engineers preferred
- Competitor, product, and application knowledge of compression, terminal, and grounding connectors preferred
