Part-Time Nanny in Black Mountain for a 4 Month Old Girl

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Black Mountain, NC, in finding a Part-Time Nanny for their 4-month-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, trustworthy, patient, and kind, with strong communication skills and experience working with infants. The ideal candidate will help maintain the baby’s established daily routine, including her feeding and nap schedule, while engaging her in enriching, age-appropriate activities. These activities should include tummy time, reading, outdoor walks, and play gym time to support developmental milestones. As the child grows, the nanny will be encouraged to take her on outings within the community to promote learning and socialization. A strong emphasis is placed on limited screen time for both the child and the nanny, instead focusing on meaningful interactions that support the baby’s early development. The child has mild torticollis and is undergoing physical therapy; the nanny will support her therapy plan by encouraging symmetrical movement and helping her strengthen her neck muscles. Mom works from home in a dedicated office space and is breastfeeding, so the nanny will be asked to bring the baby to her for feeding times. This family is looking for a long-term caregiver who will become part of their home and build a lasting bond with their daughter over the years.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail and stocking diapers and wipes

Pets: The family has a miniature dachshund, she spends most of the day in mom’s office, and the nanny will have limited pet responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations and the TDAP vaccine before starting the position. The COVID-19 vaccine and the annual Flu Vaccine are preferred.
