Service is the core of this territory. This role is for a technician who does not need constant supervision, can walk into a site, figure out what is actually wrong, and get it resolved. You will support several large clients across Raleigh East, including some regulated and critical infrastructure environments, and you will be trusted to operate from the field with the tools, parts support, and autonomy to handle your territory well.

What You Get to Do

• Run day-to-day service work across the Raleigh East territory with a mix of scheduled service calls and larger troubleshooting projects
• Handle roughly 3 to 4 smaller service calls in a day or take ownership of one larger troubleshooting issue from start to finish
• Work directly from the field without needing to return to the office regularly
• Pick up materials Friday afternoon or Monday morning and plan your week around scheduled service work
• Respond to issues that have already been triaged remotely when possible, so field time is spent where it matters
• Troubleshoot and service access control, video, and related hardware in live client environments
• Work across Mercury hardware, Feenics, Lenel, Genetec, and AMAG Symmetry platforms
• Service camera and VMS environments including Axis, Hanwha, some Avigilon, Milestone, OpenEye, and Genetec
• Support work at critical infrastructure sites including power plants, substations, and perimeter fiber fencing environments

What You Have Already Done

• Troubleshot access control and video systems in the field
• Worked hands-on with Mercury-based systems and understand how to diagnose issues beyond basic part swapping
• Operated independently across a service territory and managed your own day without needing constant direction
• Taken service calls from problem report through root cause and resolution
• Worked in environments where uptime, documentation, and professionalism matter
• Built enough judgment to know when to solve it yourself, when to escalate, and how to communicate clearly with clients along the way
• Used common access control and video platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, Feenics, AMAG, Milestone, or OpenEye
• Worked with locks, door hardware, or related physical security components, even if that is not your primary strength
• Ideally been exposed to regulated or high-security environments such as power, utility, substation, or NERC CIP-type facilities

Compensation: Hourly rate in the high $30s to low $40s, depending on certifications and experience.
