Warehouse Inventory Manager
Job Overview
Build A Head is seeking a meticulous and experienced Warehouse Inventory Manager to join our dynamic team in Burlington, North Carolina . This is a full-time position, central to our mission of bringing smiles, excitement, and creativity to every celebration. At Build a Head, we create unforgettable moments with our custom big heads and life-size standups. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise management and organisation of our warehouse inventory, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy to support our unique production process. Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control procedures and systems.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and investigate any discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends, optimise stock levels, and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Liaise with procurement, production, and sales departments to forecast demand and prevent stock shortages or overages.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all inventory movements using our inventory management software.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse management or inventory control role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant computer systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
