FAA A&P Mechanic

Total Flight Solutions has an open position to be filled immediately for an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic, who is available for full-time employment to join our team of mechanics. You will receive competitive hourly pay. The position is out of Triangle North Executive Airport (LHZ) located in Louisburg, NC.

Duties :

• Aircraft servicing (fuel, oil, cockpits).
• Scheduled maintenance (50 and 100 hr. inspections).
• Oil and filter changes.
• Tire changes, brake servicing.
• Avionics troubleshooting.
• Strong piston background is preferred.

Requirements:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P).
• General Aviation Experience.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and available to work 40 hours a week.
• Knowledge and skill using online maintenance manuals and looking up parts components.
• Complete all work order paperwork related to tasks performed with detailed documentation, in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company practices in a timely fashion.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and proceed in an efficient and professional manner.
• Handle and resolve technical issues and problems.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule and holidays if required.
• Independently make critical decisions regarding aircraft safety.
• Must be able to perform all maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time.
• Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements.
• Looking for experience with the following types of aircraft:
  • Cessna 172's.
  • Robinson R22/R44 (training provided for approved candidates).
• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) optional.
