Quality Supervisor

Salary: $50,000 - $58,000 About the Role:
Our client, a well-established paper-converting and printing facility, is seeking a Lead Quality Supervisor to join their Quality Assurance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The Lead Quality Supervisor will oversee the quality team, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and develop quality assurance staff, including quality technicians and internal auditors.
- Schedule and assign work priorities to ensure quality coverage across all shifts.
- Ensure products meet internal quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations (ISO, SQF, FSC, SFI).
- Develop and enforce quality control procedures, inspection criteria, and testing protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives.
- Identify quality trends and recommend process improvements to reduce waste, rework, and customer complaints.
- Report key quality metrics (defect rates, customer complaints, scrap/rework levels, audit results) to plant leadership.
- Support customer-facing teams in addressing concerns and implementing corrective actions.
- Previous experience in quality supervision within manufacturing or paper/printing industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of quality systems, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
