Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This role supports an inclusion classroom with students in grades K-6, including 6th grade. The position features a caseload of approximately 15 students and offers part-time hours, 10-15 hours per week spread over 5 days.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in special education, preferably with inclusion classrooms
• Ability to effectively manage and support a caseload of 15 students
• Familiarity with elementary grade levels K-6
• mitment to working onsite full-time during scheduled hours

Location:

• Elementary school setting in Wake Forest, NC
• Full-time onsite position, hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instructional support to students with special needs within an inclusion setting
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and municate with parents and staff as needed
• Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for the current school year (CSY). Candidates must be available to work onsite full time during the stated hours.
