Prep Cook/Dish/Fryer (BOH)
Overview:
Power Cross Cafe is a Ministry Owned Cafe in Statesville, NC. We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you have a passion for cooking and serving people, we want to hear from you. Join us in a Ministry Owned restaurant and make an eternal impact with your cooking!
Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes following established recipes and presentation techniques.
- Operate grills, fryers, broilers, and other kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Ensure food quality meets the highest standards before serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
- Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed.
Skills:
- Experience in a culinary role, preferably in the food industry or dietary department.
- Proficiency in grill cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong skills in food preparation, including kitchen equipment operation.

Consistent work hours:
- Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:30pm.
- Saturdays 5:00am-12:00pm.
