Head Golf Professional

Intown Golf Club (IGC) is the premier private social club and lifestyle brand for people that appreciate the game of golf. IGC is currently seeking a Head Golf Professional to join its team for our upcoming Raleigh, NC location.

Head Golf Professional Responsibilities:

• Leads the management and performance golf operations and services ensuring high standards to achieve member and employee partner satisfaction.
• Oversees the fiscal responsibilities for all golf areas including planning, forecasting, budget development, management, and accurate reporting.
• Design and implement performance strategies that promote a positive workplace, enhance employee retention, and improve overall member satisfaction.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating new golf operations staff.
• Create and implement exciting tournaments and programming while maintaining the current traditions of the club.
• Build upon an exceptional teaching program by keeping current on game improving technology and equipment.
• Provide golf instruction to members.
• Effectively communicate with the members, promoting new merchandise arrivals, written correspondence in newsletters, upcoming events, event winners, course maintenance schedules, and highlighting accomplishments of staff.
• Represent the Club in a professional and positive manner within the Charlotte community.

Head Golf Professional Qualifications:

• Head Golf Professional with a minimum of five years of progressive experience at clubs known for a high-quality golf experience. We are open to First Assistants with strong tenure, ready to take the next step.
• Class A or B Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) member.
• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
