Machine Operator (Hiring ASAP)

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator, where you will play a crucial role in our production lines, including deodorant and body wash lines. We are expanding with a new deodorant line, and this position offers an opportunity to be part of this exciting growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage machinery on deodorant and body wash production lines.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team of 4-5 people per machine.
• Perform machine set-up, changeovers, and preventative/corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
• Handle general labor tasks, including moving boxes of labels weighing up to 20lbs and changing shrink wrap rolls.

Essential Skills

• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Mechanical inclination with experience in machine operation.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor and assembly experience.
• No diploma required, but a High School Diploma is necessary for advancement opportunities.

Work Environment

This position is within a highly automated and fast-paced facility, where operations can be slightly unorganized. Shifts are structured as 223, with both day (6:30am-7pm) and night (6:30pm-7am) options available. Initial training will be conducted during the day shift for four weeks. Safety training will be provided on the first day of work. The role is a contract position expected to last until late November or early December.

This is a Contract position based out of Raeford, NC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
