Industrial Maintenance Specialist - Flooring Trim Lines
Role Overview
Picture this: a high-speed wrapping line pauses mid-run. You arrive with tools in hand, isolate the issue, and bring production back online safely and efficiently. As our Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you are the hands-on expert who keeps our flooring trim operations moving—across wrapping lines, molding and forming lines, cutting machines, shrink wrap units, and material handling systems.
What You'll Tackle Day-to-Day
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment used to manufacture flooring trims.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Install and commission new machines and upgrades in collaboration with engineering and operations.
- Create, update, and close work orders and PM schedules within our CMMS.
- Partner with production and quality teams to identify recurring problems and implement durable fixes.
- Champion safety practices—Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and machine guarding—every time.
- Conduct routine inspections to spot wear, prevent failures, and correct unsafe conditions.
- Support manufacturing KPIs and performance goals through reliable equipment care.
- Apply 5S principles in the maintenance shop and across work areas.
What You Bring
- 7+ years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; experience with flooring trims or a closely related process is a plus.
- Expertise in mechanical systems, strong electrical knowledge, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Skilled with trade tools, diagnostic instruments, and CMMS software.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts with overtime and weekends when needed.
- Technical diploma or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
