Job Title: Meat Oven Helper – Pits (Hot End)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Location: Siler City, NC
Pay: $13.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – Until Finish

Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Meat Oven Helpers – Pits (Hot End) to join a food production team in the Siler City area. This position supports the cooking and processing of meat products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, able to work in hot conditions, and committed to maintaining food quality and sanitation standards while meeting production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with operating and monitoring meat cooking pits and related equipment
• Support the preparation, cooking, and movement of meat products throughout the production process
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards at all times
• Work safely around hot equipment, open pits, and high-temperature environments
• Load, unload, and transport products as required throughout the production area
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform repetitive production tasks while meeting production quotas and deadlines
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient operations
• Comply with all company safety policies and personal protective equipment requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work in hot, smoky environments for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Strong attention to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
• Must be safety-minded and wear required protective gear and work boots
• Must complete the company hiring process
• Must meet background screening requirements
• Must successfully complete a drug screening
• Must be able to interview at the Greensboro location

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, food production, or cooking environments
• Experience working in a fast-paced production setting
• Knowledge of food handling and food safety procedures
