This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated healthcare and professional liability matters representing hospitals, healthcare systems, physician groups, long-term care facilities, and medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage healthcare and medical malpractice litigation matters through all phases of litigation
- Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation
- Advise healthcare clients on risk management, litigation strategy, and regulatory considerations
- Represent providers in professional liability, credentialing, and licensing-related disputes
- Work closely with clients and senior attorneys on complex and high-exposure matters
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of healthcare, medical malpractice, or complex litigation experience
- Active North Carolina Bar admission
- Strong writing, analytical, and case management skills
- Ability to independently manage matters and maintain client relationships
