EHS Field Safety Manager

Evolution Safety Resources (ESR) is a Safety Consulting Firm based out of North Carolina.
Our team is seeking a full-time field safety manager in the Fayetteville, NC market to manage a client site and ensure compliance with federal, state, and best practice safety guidelines. You will provide advice on measures to minimize hazards or unhealthy situations. You will also be on a constant lookout for violations. Your work will be largely focused on prevention, so you need to be conscientious and farsighted.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and ready to act in emergencies. The goal is to establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety. We are seeking someone who is based out of Fayetteville, NC or the surrounding area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA regulations
- Follow all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions
- Properly use all required personal protection equipment
- Comply with jobsite guidelines to ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment
- Maintain daily reports required by the customer, including daily inspections, Job Safety Analysis, and incident reports; generate reports with detailed documentation of onsite findings (including: Notes, Photos, and Corrective Actions taken)
- Inspect sites daily for existing and/or potential incident and health hazards
- Determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented
- Investigate all reported injuries and illnesses
- Maintain a healthy client relationship and proper communication methods
- Stand as subject matter expert on all topics of EHS
QUALIFICATIONS
- OSHA 30 Construction (required)
- Field Safety Experience - 5 yrs (required)
- EM-385-1-1 (required)
- 24 Hour Fall Protection Class (required)
- OSHA 510 credentials (preferred)
- Industrial/General Industry Experience (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The employee is frequently assigned to outdoor jobs, requires long periods of standing and lifting and carrying of supplies.
- Employee will be expected to have a clean driving history, a valid driver’s license and pass a background and substance screening.
