About the Role:
Advance Concrete is looking for a diesel mechanic that is a driven, detail-oriented team player. This vital role is responsible for keeping our vehicles & diesel equipment in top working order to maximize productivity and minimize equipment downtime. Works closely with the shop manager and diesel mechanic as well as operations personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and general repairs to vehicles and diesel equipment.
- Track equipment and perform inspections to identify any issues at check-in.
- Diagnose, identify, and fix equipment issues.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and potential welding equipment for necessary repairs.
- Help keep shop organized and track tool/equipment check-outs.
Ideal Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of mechanic experience.
- Experience with diesel engines especially skidsteers & mini excavators a plus.
- Experience with maintenance, diagnosis and repair.
- Valid Drivers License with clean driving history.
- Strong work ethic and well organized.
- Ability to work independently.
Other Details:
- Position is full time, hourly and pay will be based on experience level.

- Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
