As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial** in **Durham, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for clients and visitors. This post requires carrying a firearm and maintaining an active armed guard license. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related protocols.
+ Identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, and suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as directed during incidents and emergency situations.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Possess an armed guard card or license.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
