Production Scheduler

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: Build the daily Operational plan, Order and manage all raw material needs, manage finish good inventory and aging inventory’s, Balance weekly production to ensure order fill and Operational needs. The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented and thrive on supporting a busy, fast-paced team. This role offers excellent growth potential!

Responsibilities:

• Create shift production schedules for all product produced at the Lenoir facility
• Manage raw material and finished goods inventories to maintain order fill rates and minimize aged inventories
• Work hand in hand with plant production leaders to coordinate optimum product mix
• Manage customer orders to recognize trends, and make appropriate adjustments as well as communicate to corporate demand planning
• Meet KPIs for Order Fill, Make Sheet Accuracy, etc…
• Maintain data within Scheduling System that drives constraints, capacities, and accurate forecasts
• Create POs for inbound and outbound orders
• Attend daily meeting with supervisors to address production plans and identify any gaps in the production planning
• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
• Minimum 3 years in Scheduling and demand planning.
• In depth knowledge of production and inventory control processes
• Superb organizational and analytical skills
• Detail oriented and strong multi-tasking skills

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of 70,000-80,000
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program.
