Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking CVICU Nurse Manager for an exciting permanent opportunity in Asheville, NC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical and operational functions of the CVICU
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff in a collaborative environment
• Promote evidence-based practice and quality patient outcomes
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership on strategic initiatives
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth
• Participate in administrative on-call rotation

Requirements

• BSN required, OR ADN with MSN, OR BA with MSN
• Current North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License required
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required
• National specialty certification required within one year of hire
• Minimum 5 years of recent nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital leadership experience required
• Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager experience required
• Strong post-cardiothoracic and cardiovascular critical care background required
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Previous CVICU leadership experience preferred

Additional Information

• Administrative on-call coverage required approximately once every 6 weeks
